Went to her Lord and Saviour on April 17^th, 2024, in her 87^th year.

She was born September 25, 1937, in Lemmer, The Netherlands. Betty was the beloved wife of the late Jim; loving and supportive mother to Mark (Sylvia) Bandstra, Sue (the late John) Bishop and the late Francine. She was a wonderful Beppe to Matthew Bandstra; Stephanie (Chris) Sissons; Sarah Bandstra; Mitchell Bishop and Mikayala Bishop. She loved her great grandchildren Gideon and Emmaline Sissons. Dear sister of Joyce Miller, Cory (Rose) Kuipers the late- George (Shirley) Kuipers. Betty loved her family so very much and she was a Godly example of putting her hope and trust in the Lord in times of sorrow. She loved flowers and for 14 years, she and Dad owned a flower shop in Bowmanville. Her gardens were beautiful!

Her love, support and gentleness will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held at THE NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME 6-8 pm on Friday April 19, 2024. A Funeral Service will be held at MARANATHA CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 285 Highway #2 East, Bowmanville on Saturday April 20, 2024, at 11:00am.  The service will be streamed live for those unable to attend in person, CLICK ME .
