Beloved husband of Heather Mills and the late Anita. Loving father of Curtis (Cindy), Madeleine (Jim) and Christine (Damian) Kelly. Dear grandfather of Kayla, Joshua, Brandon, Cassidy, Julia, Mark, Haylie, Erin, Brittney and great- grandfather of Zayden. Cherished brother of Maurice, Jean-Paul, Alde, Donald, Lionel, Cecile and Jacqueline. Roger will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews.

Beloved husband of Ann (nee Woelinga) and the late Lammie (nee Semplonius). Dear father of Jack (Audrey) Strikwerda, Sandra (Wilf) Venema and Carolyn (John) Hyma. Jim was blessed with 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandsons. Jim will be missed by Ann’s children, Mike (Benita) Vanzalen, Kim (Dave) Bakker and John (Michelle) Vanzalen, as well as her 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Jim was a loving brother to Tina, Yeme and the late Annie, Leah, Lies & Bob and will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, the Semplonius family and his many friends.

Peacefully passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday February 22, 2015 in his 90th year.

Beloved husband of Ting for over 65 years. Lovingly remembered by his children - Wally (Joy), Kim (Leonard), Jane (Scott) and Peter; his grandchildren – Karen, Sharon (Derek), Raymond, Anna (Ken), Nancy (Craig), Amy (Andrew) and his great- grandchildren – Neko and Molly. Dick will be missing by his extended family both in Canada and New York State.

After a brief battle with cancer, Gerry peacefully passed into Heaven to be with his Lord and Saviour on Tuesday February 17, 2015.

He leaves to mourn his devoted wife, Diane; his children Marg & Lloyd, Kathy & Adrian, Ray & Debbie, Carol & Andrew, Mary & Clarence; his grandchildren Jason & Brenda, Stephanie & Dylan, Jon & Kristin, David, Gordon, Tina & Jake, Eric, Ryan, Kirsten, Ashley and Dane, Jeremy; his great-grandchildren Alder, Linden, Aspen, Cypress, Nevaeh and Owen; Diane’s children Tim, Maribeth, Kathy & Rodger, Rose & Bill and David; Diane’s grandchildren Sidney, Preston, Jenna & Steve, Robert, Ryan, Korina, Ben, Josh; Diane’s great-grandchildren Henley and Keegin. It is with deep sadness that we announce that Johnny Seto has entered heavenly brilliance on Wednesday February 11, 2015 at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville.

Married to MeiMei (Leung) for over 50 years, dear father of Janice, Bonnie (Barry Hersco), Gail (Giuseppe Diluciano) , and the late Tony, and loving grandfather of Miranda and Sebastien Hersco, and uncle of Florence Yee (Chatman), Eva Chiu (George), Herbert Jew (Carolyn), and George Jew (Stella), Johnny was a family man, first and foremost. A lifelong supporter of the Montreal Canadiens, Johnny was a member of the Bowmanville Golf & Country Club for years. He is most widely known as the longtime proprietor of the Coronation Restaurant in downtown Bowmanville, making the best chicken pot pie, baking the best coconut cream pies, roasting turkeys and beef on the premises, preparing homemade gravies, sweet and sour sauce, and welcoming everyone with the best and warmest of Cantonese and Canadian hospitality, to the cafe affectionately known as "Johnny's Place."

Phil was a proud Liverpool fan and an accomplished drummer. He will be sadly missed by his cat, Apple, his extended family, his tenants and his many friends.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Larry passed away at home, surrounded by the love of his family

Loving and devoted husband of Phyllis and proud father of Stephen & his wife Lee-Ann, Terri Lynne & her husband Bruce Cyr and Craig & his wife Laurie. An adoring Papa, he doted on his grandchildren Daniel, Ally, Timothy, Dawson, Drew and Katie. Larry will be lovingly remembered by his brothers, sister, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Heartfelt thanks go to his nurses and caregivers for their incredible compassion and support given to Larry and his family during his illness.

Entered into eternal rest on Monday February 2nd, 2015 surrounded by family in her Oshawa home.

Helen was born June 9, 1936, the daughter of the late Charles and Frances Hone of Bowmanville. She is survived by her brother Douglas Hone. She married the late Stanley Anderson on October 8, 1955 after taking up residence in Oshawa, where they started their family. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her children Deb (Carl); Danny; Sue (Jeff); Karen (Mark) and Glenn (Anne). Her loving grandchildren Vicki (Chris), Jessica (Chris), Christopher (Amanda), Michael (Grace), Kerri (Steve), Geoffrey (Meghyn), James ( Leah), Alex (Jenna), Meghan, Sam (Nathan) and Kirsten (Nelson). Helen’s many great-grandchildren Chelsea, Nick, Jayda, Griffin, Connor, Kalei, Mairyn, Holley, Abby, Isaac, Brenden, Kalvin and Jackson. Loved by her canine companions Ben, Sweet Pea, Max and Stella.

On Friday January 9th, 2015, at the age of 41, died of Bladder Cancer at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, surrounded by the love of her family

Camille was born on June 5, 1973 in Oshawa. She is survived by her beloved husband Michael (Mike) Coombes and her sons Stuart and Logan. She is the loved daughter of Duncan & Margaret McPherson and sister of Warren (Ofelia). She will be lovingly remembered by her in-laws Jim & Margaret Coombes, Peter Coombes, Jill Coombes (Maureen), nephews Matthew & Nathaniel and extended family and dear friends.

Camille was raised in Bowmanville. She went to Waverley PS, Bowmanville Sr. PS, then Bowmanville High School. She graduated from Brock University with a B.Sc (Honours) in Earth Sciences. Most recently Camille worked at Hubbell Canada.

Camille was an active member of the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario (ACO) ~ Clarington Branch, who works for the advocacy of the preservation and productive reuse of local historically significant buildings and properties. Specifically Camp 30.

Camille was most proud of her boys, her beloved husband and his dojo.

A Celebration of Camille’s Life will be held at ST. PAUL’S UNITED CHURCH, 178 Church St. Bowmanville on Saturday January 17th, 2015 at 3 pm. Visitation will be held from 1 – 3 pm In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to ACO ~ Clarington, The Terry Fox Foundation or an RESP has been set up for Stuart & Logan, these may be done through Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, 53 Division St. N., with whom arrangements have been entrusted.

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 30th, 2014 at the age of 59 years.

He is predeceased by his brother David Arthur Fisher and his sister Luanna Grace Fisher. He will be greatly missed by his extended family at Oshawa This Week.

It is with great sadness that the family of Ralph Virtue of Enniskillen announce his passing in his 92nd year.

Ralph passed away peacefully on November 30th, 2014 at Spruce Lodge Long Term Care in Stratford, Ontario


Beloved husband of the late Joyce Virtue (McGill). Forever in our hearts and grateful for the life we shared together are his children, Judy (Brian) Hall and Laurie Virtue (Andy DeVries). Much loved Grandpa and fondly remembered by Jenny Hall (Cory Willows), Ashley Hall (Marco Pfister) and Chad Virtue. Predeceased by his brother Roy and sisters Naomi, Ruby and Evelyn (Earl) Masters and brother-in-law Joseph McGill. Remembered by brother-in-law Garth (Marilyn) McGill and sister-in-law Kathy McGill. Ralph was a 35 year employee of General Motors but his greatest joy was his family farm. Ralph very much enjoyed entertaining and social events with extended family and friends.

Peacefully passed away at the age of 82 with his wife Janet by his side at the Village of Taunton Mills in Whitby

Son of the late Edna and Harper Bateman. Doug is survived by his children Ronald, Raymond, Richard and Rhonda and their spouses. Loving grandfather of David, Kim, Jason, Daniel, Mark and Kathleen and great-grandfather of Ella Rose, Reesa, Ayden and Fiona. Very special brother to Marilyn & Jack, Barbara, Shirley and Sam. His many nieces and nephews will remember their Uncle Doug with all the fun times they shared. He will be forever remembered by his “adopted” family Maureen & Doug, Rick & Sonny, Pam, Rick R. and grandchildren and great grandchildren of the Aubrey Family. For many years Doug was “the roof doctor” of Adair Roofing, making many friends along the way.

Very Special Thanks to the staff, doctors, nurses, personal support workers and Dr. Reed at Village of Taunton Mills. Each and every one of them were with Doug throughout his illness, where he was treated with kindness and respect.

Suddenly but peacefully at home Larry Holliday was taken from his best friend and life partner on November 6, 2014.

Their time together was short but full of love and humor. Retired from Durham Board of Education where he was group leader of maintenance for over 30 years. Larry left behind his life partner and soulmate Marcia Hamilton, his Mother Norma Goldon, Son Larry Jr. (Crystal), Daughter Mandy Maddix (Steve), Son Matthew and daughter Meaghan McStravick as well as sisters Lana and Cathy, nephews Craig, Shane, Marty, Jake and niece Crystal. Poppy to Carter, Caitlyn, Ethan, Drew and Owen. Missed by so many more.

He loved life.

She was surrounded by her children Donna (Ron) Masterson and Craig (Lesley) Cochrane. She was predeceased by her husband Don on June 20, 2014 and parents Carman and Evelyn Foster. She will be greatly missed by her 6 grandchildren, Darryl Thomas, Carmyn Thomas (Grant Cole), Kymm Brouzes (Leo), Karyn Mayuk (Ryan), Braden Cochrane and Kaley Cochrane (Travis Brossart). Proud Greatgrandmother to Blaire, Laine and Erin Brouzes, Beatrice Thomas-Cole, Carter and Gertrude Mayuk. Survived by sisters Thelma (Jack) Westlake, Lois (Steve) Nimigon, Jean (Lorne) Penfound, Judy Hunt and brother Jack Foster. She is predeceased by her brother Russell and sister-in-law Kay Foster and sister Dorothy and brother-in-law Jack Mesher and sister in law Isabelle Foster. Will be missed by several brothers in law and sisters in law and many nieces and nephews.

We thank the Nursing staff and Doctors of the Cardiac unit G5 of Lakeridge Oshawa Hospital for the very attentive care given to Mom.

Went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on October 27, 2014 at the age of 86.

Born in Koudem, The Netherlands Jelle immigrated to Canada in 1990 to marry Corry and has been a loving husband, companion and friend to her for 24 years.

He is survived by two brothers, Durk and Ruurd, and is predeceased by a brother (Anne) and two sisters (Hinke and Rinkje); all from the Netherlands.

Jelle was a proud and loving step father to Wendy (Hank), Grace (Reg), Gelf (Hilda), John (Rita), Nancy (Bob), and Corrinne (Don). He will be missed and always remembered by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
